The Game continues to diss Jay-Z, this time dropping some rhymes over Jay-Z‘s “D.O.A.” track. Declaring the “Death Of Jay-Z,” Game asked the audience “I know y’all been hearing about the controversy between with me and Jay-Z, right.”  “So I’ma start it off like this, f*ck Jay-Z! The Game Continues To Diss Jay-Z In Concert

Fresh off of apologizing publicly to 50 Cent, it’s safe to say that The Game has now set his sights on Jay-Z.

Presumably choosing Hov as his new target due to Jay‘s controversial rhyme, which invoked the West Coast emcee’s name, Game initially let fans know via twitter he would let it slide – until he performed a concert in France, during which Game did just the opposite.

Just like his concert in France, Game incited his crowd to chants of “Fuck Jay-Z!” and “Old-ass nigga!” In addition, Game referred to the veteran rapper as “Gay-Z,” a moniker famously given to Jay in Nas‘ infamous diss Ether.

Game referred to other rappers who had beefs with Jay-Z in the past, comparing his own disposition to that of Tupac and Nas, and follwed it with a rhyme.

Many Hip Hop fans have long-wondered if Jay-Z and Game were at odds ever since Game‘s first album, Documentary. On the song “Westside Story.” Game rapped, “And I don’t do button-up shirts or drive Maybachs.” Even though Game denied the diss on the album’s title track, many perceived that he did so with sarcasm.

The Game Apologizes To 50 Cent, Interscope

In a recent interview with MTV News, The Game  relayed Michael Jackson’s attempts to end the beef between him and 50 Cent. Although the rappers eventually laid the feud to rest (without Jackson’s help) the tension between the two still remained. However, The Game has finally taken it upon himself to give a formal apology, not just to 50, but to the whole Interscope label.

“For 50, I’m just gonna apologize to him, just as a man,” he told MTV. “It has nothing to do with music, or beef, or nothing like that. It ain’t about being the bigger man. He can take it and say, ‘Game is apologizing,’ ‘Game’s a sucka, he’s apologizing.’ I’m apologizing for me to him, to [Dr.] Dre, to Jimmy Iovine, to Eminem, to all the fans. Because if you think about what Interscope was when we were gellin’, man we were it. We were an unstoppable force.”

He explained that while he was a member of G-Unit, there were some things he needed to do “for my career to have longevity, and for me to survive in Hip Hop music,” and this may have played a part in the dissolving relationship between himself and 50 Cent. He also expressed some regret that G-Unit and the Interscope label did not get to experience the success that it could have had, potentially.

“Now, four albums in, I can say as a man that G-Unit, Game, Aftermath, Black Wall Street, Interscope, Geffen, Eminem, Shady, from [Lloyd] Banks to [Young] Buck to [Tony] Yayo to Dre to whoever; If it woulda kept going: endless paper. Millions of albums sold. Because we were great together.”

The Game also expressed his strong belief that, had he and G-Unit (and perhaps Young Buck) not parted ways, many things would have been different.

“Me and Fif’s chemistry is what Method Man was to Redman when they get in. Red ain’t from Wu-Tang but you know when Meth gets wit’ Redman it’s goin’ down… [Me and 50’s] biggest records were together. Whether I was on them or I wasn’t on them. Whether he was on them or he wasn’t on them. When we were in gellin’ writing together as a family, we had it man. If we never would have [broken] up, I think Detox would have been out and we all would have been selling millions from Banks to Buck, and Tony Yayo. I’m going to apologize for my role.”

After releasing a Michael Jackson tribute last week with Diddy and Usher called “Better On The Other Side“.  The Game has come forward to say he got a call from the King Of Pop during the height of his beef with 50 CentGame says that Jackson contacted him to be the mediator in his beef with the G-Unit general. “I was on tour in Canada, sitting in my room, cutting my hair,” Game said of the call. [watch here] “I was messing my hair up. Then my road manager knocks on my door. Boom, boom, boom. He told me, I got MJ on the phone. I ran and snatched up the phone.”

“He got to this one thing that makes me laugh, man,”  Game said of the convo. “He said, ‘I don’t know how you’re gonna feel about this, but I want to ask you something. I don’t want you to judge me, but I don’t really know everything that’s going on between you and 50. But I want to be the middle man behind you putting this situation to bed.'”
